Die j\u00fcngste Verabschiedung des Euthanasiegesetzes wurde von Tausenden von Menschen abgelehnt, insbesondere von der katholischen Kirche und ihren Vertretern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In diesem Zusammenhang hat der Direktor der spanischen P\u00e4pstliche Missionsgesellschaften<\/a>der Priester Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Calder\u00f3n<\/strong> wollte sich dieser Ablehnung mit einem Kommuniqu\u00e9 institutionell anschlie\u00dfen, in dem sie daran erinnert, wie \"die Kirche mit ihren Missionaren sich bei vielen Gelegenheiten auf heroische Weise um viele Menschen k\u00fcmmert, die an schrecklichen, unheilbaren, t\u00f6dlichen Krankheiten leiden\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calder\u00f3n wies darauf hin, dass \"die Missionare uns lehren, dass sich das Leben lohnt, wenn es sich in Dienst, in Sorge, in Hingabe an andere verwandelt, insbesondere an die Bed\u00fcrftigsten und Benachteiligten\".

Der Direktor des PMS in Spanien betonte au\u00dferdem, dass \"es eine Schande ist, dass in unserer entwickelten Welt, in der es viel mehr materielle und gesundheitliche Ressourcen gibt, das Leben eines Menschen es nicht verdient, bis zum Ende gepflegt zu werden, und dass entschieden wird - als ob wir den Schl\u00fcssel zu Leben und Tod h\u00e4tten - wann das Leben eines kranken Menschen keinen Wert oder Sinn mehr hat\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calder\u00f3n wollte auch betonen, dass \"im Gegensatz zu dem enormen Wert, der dem Leben in vielen Kulturen, in denen unsere Missionare arbeiten, beigemessen wird, das Gesetz \u00fcber Euthanasie und Sterbehilfe, das der spanische Kongress letzte Woche verabschiedet hat, ein weiterer Beweis daf\u00fcr ist, dass der Mensch f\u00fcr unsere Gesellschaft nur insoweit einen Wert hat, als er n\u00fctzlich ist, so dass den Leidenden das Leben genommen werden kann, anstatt sie zu begleiten und ihnen zu helfen, diese Momente in Frieden zu leben und sich geliebt zu f\u00fchlen\".
