Wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich die Grotte des Heiligen Josef, der Ort, an dem der Engel im Traum zum Heiligen Josef sprach und ihn aufforderte, nach \u00c4gypten zu fliehen, \"denn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/de\/nachrichten\/der-papst-fragt-uns-nicht-wie-der-held-zu-sein\/\">Herodes<\/a> wird nach dem Kind suchen, um es zu t\u00f6ten\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Kirche verehrt diese Unschuldigen als <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaticannews.va\/es\/santos\/12\/28\/ss--inocentes--martires.html\">M\u00e4rtyrer<\/a> und feiert sie in der N\u00e4he von Weihnachten. Auf Wunsch von Pius V. wurde das Fest zu einem Festtag erhoben. Einige haben den Wahrheitsgehalt der Erz\u00e4hlung des heiligen Matth\u00e4us angezweifelt, aber das Zweite Vatikanische Konzil hat in seiner Dogmatischen Konstitution <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/archive\/hist_councils\/ii_vatican_council\/documents\/vat-ii_const_19651118_dei-verbum_sp.html\">Dei Verbum<\/a> bekr\u00e4ftigte den Charakter <a href=\"https:\/\/es.catholic.net\/op\/articulos\/60694\/ocurri-realmente-la-matanza-de-los-santos-inocentes.html#modal\">historisch<\/a> der Evangelien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Benedikt XVI. weist in \"Jesus von Nazareth\" darauf hin, dass \"wir zwar aus nichtbiblischen Quellen nichts \u00fcber diese Tatsache wissen, aber angesichts der vielen Grausamkeiten, die Herodes begangen hat, beweist dies nicht, dass das Verbrechen nicht stattgefunden hat\".
