Der junge Ces\u00e1reo studierte<\/a> in Alexandrien und Konstantinopel und hielt die \u00c4rzteschaft<\/a>Er war ein Arzt mit gro\u00dfem Ansehen. Er war Arzt mehrerer Kaiser. Julian der Abtr\u00fcnnige versucht<\/a> Er war ein Katechumene, als er noch ein Katechumene war. Nach dem Erdbeben von Nic\u00e4a im Jahr 368, bei dem er fast ums Leben kam, lie\u00df er sich taufen, gab die weltliche Arbeit auf und widmete sich dem Gebet und der Armenf\u00fcrsorge. Er starb 369 in Nacianzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nacianzo ist der alte Bischofssitz von Kappadokien. Die Stadt ist vor allem deshalb bekannt, weil hier der Theologe Gregor von Nazianz, der \u00e4ltere Bruder und einer der kappadokischen V\u00e4ter, geboren wurde, zusammen mit Der heilige Basilius der Gro\u00dfe<\/a> und dem Heiligen Gregor von Nyssa. Seit dem 16. Jahrhundert geh\u00f6rt Nacianzo zu den Bischofssitzen der katholischen Kirche, obwohl das Amt seit 1999 nicht mehr besetzt ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weitere Heilige, die am 25. Februar gefeiert werden, sind die italienischen Salesianer Luis Versiglia und Calixto Caravario, Bischof und Priester, die in China gemartert wurden. Der selige Robert von Arbrissel, Sebastian de Aparicio und der Kardinal von Burgos, Ciriaco Sancha y Herv\u00e1s, wurden 2009 in Toledo selig gesprochen.
