Im Alter von 22 Jahren legte er bei den Konventualen von Niepokalan\u00f3w die franziskanische Ordenstracht an, wo er in der Redaktion des \"Ritters der Unbefleckten\", beim Vertrieb franziskanischer Zeitungen und in der Krankenstation arbeitete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Oktober 1941 wurde er verhaftet und in das Vernichtungslager in Berlin deportiert. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/de\/nachrichten\/80-jahrestag-auschwitz-drei-papste-haben-es-besucht\/\">Auschwitz<\/a>wo trotz der extrem harten Bedingungen, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franciscanos.org\/agnofranciscano\/m02\/dia0228.html\">getr\u00f6stet und zum Vertrauen auf Gott ermahnt<\/a> f\u00fcr die Gefangenen, berichtet das Franciscan Directory. Aufgrund der harten Haftbedingungen zog er sich nach zwei Monaten eine Lungenentz\u00fcndung zu und starb am 28. Februar 1942. Er ist einer der <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ciento_ocho_m%C3%A1rtires_de_Polonia_durante_la_Segunda_Guerra_Mundial\">M\u00e4rtyrer <\/a>des Zweiten Weltkriegs, der 1999 vom Heiligen Johannes Paul II. seliggesprochen wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Japanische Laien als M\u00e4rtyrer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei den Seligen M\u00e4rtyrern von Unzen handelt es sich um 16 japanische Laien aus der Di\u00f6zese Funai, die am 28. Februar 1627 in den Sulfaten des Berges Unzen in Nagasaki den M\u00e4rtyrertod erlitten und 2008 als Teil einer Gruppe von 188 M\u00e4rtyrern unter der Leitung des Samurai Paul Uchibori seliggesprochen wurden. Fast alle hatten zuvor Gefangenschaft und Folter erlitten. Einige waren Nachkommen oder Verwandte von M\u00e4rtyrern, Katecheten, die Missionare im Versteck beherbergt hatten und dabei ihr Leben riskierten. Paul Uchibori starb mit den Worten: \"Gelobt sei das Allerheiligste Sakrament\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>M\u00e4rtyrer von Alexandria: Sie fingen sich die Pest ein<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die heiligen M\u00e4rtyrer von Alexandria werden auch \"M\u00e4rtyrer der Pest\" genannt. Im Jahr 262 suchte die Pest die Stadt Alexandria heim und forderte Tausende von Toten. Eine gro\u00dfe Gruppe von Christen, Priestern, Diakonen und Laien, leistete den Pestopfern ohne zu z\u00f6gern Hilfe, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franciscanos.org\/agnofranciscano\/m02\/dia0228.html\">Bereitstellung von Dienstleistungen f\u00fcr sie<\/a> im Tod und auch danach, und sie wurden angesteckt und starben als M\u00e4rtyrer. Der heilige Dionysius, Bischof von Alexandria, berichtet dies in einem Brief.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der franz\u00f6sische Priester Saint Auguste Chapdeleine, 1914 in La Rochelle geboren, trat 1851 in die Pariser Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Auslandsmissionen ein. Im folgenden Jahr schiffte er sich f\u00fcr die Mission in Guangxi (China) ein, wo er im Februar 1854 ankam, nachdem er sich vorbereitet und viele Schwierigkeiten \u00fcberwunden hatte. In China wurde er unter falschen Anschuldigungen inhaftiert und von einem Mandarin in einen kleinen K\u00e4fig gesperrt. Als er tot war, wurde er enthauptet. Die Kirche hat ihn im Jahr 2000 heiliggesprochen (in Schaltjahren wird sein Gedenktag am 29.
