Mehrere P\u00e4pste sprachen vietnamesische M\u00e4rtyrer selig, und schlie\u00dflich vereinigte ein Dekret von 1986 die 117, die Ende der 1980er Jahre von Johannes Paul II. heiliggesprochen worden waren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von den insgesamt 96 Opfern waren 96 Vietnamesen, 11 spanische Dominikanermissionare und 10 franz\u00f6sische Priester der Pariser Mission. Die Verfolgung fand zwischen 1745 und 1862 statt. Viele der M\u00e4rtyrer erlitten furchtbare Strafen und starben unter unmenschlichen Bedingungen in Gef\u00e4ngnissen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In seiner Angelusansprache am Tag der Heiligsprechung erinnerte Johannes Paul II. an das Heiligtum von La Vang, wo viele Christen w\u00e4hrend der Verfolgungen Zuflucht suchten. In seiner Rede an die spanischen und franz\u00f6sischen Pilger in Rom w\u00fcrdigte er den Mut jener Missionare und Gl\u00e4ubigen: \u201cIn ihrem leidenschaftlichen Eifer erinnern sie uns an die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Glaubensgeschenks.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bisch\u00f6fe, Priester, Laien<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laut der Nachrichtenagentur Fides handelt es sich um die 117 M\u00e4rtyrer, deren Liste Sie hier einsehen k\u00f6nnen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/news_services\/liturgy\/saints\/ns_lit_doc_19880619_martiri_vietnam_sp.html\">hier<\/a>, Diese M\u00e4rtyrer verk\u00f6rpern nicht nur eine hohe symbolische Zahl, sondern auch die Vielfalt der vietnamesischen Kirche: Bisch\u00f6fe, Priester, Ordensleute und Laien, vereint durch das Zeugnis des Martyriums. Die Mehrheit waren Priester (darunter 37 vietnamesische Priester), aber es gab auch Laien. Andere Quellen geben je nach Lebensstand acht Bisch\u00f6fe, 50 Priester und 59 Laien an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zu den bekanntesten M\u00e4rtyrern z\u00e4hlt der heilige Andreas D\u0169ng L\u1ea1c, ein vietnamesischer Priester, der durch Enthauptung hingerichtet wurde.,<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrew_D%C5%A9ng-L%E1%BA%A1c?utm_source=chatgpt.com\"> <\/a>und der heilige B\u00eana\u0111\u00f4 V\u0169 V\u0103n Du\u1ec7, ein \u00e4lterer Priester, der 1838 den M\u00e4rtyrertod erlitt. Die elf spanischen M\u00e4rtyrer waren Dominikaner, darunter sechs Bisch\u00f6fe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von 1645 bis 1886 wurden in Vietnam 53 Edikte gegen Christen erlassen, die zum Martyrium von bis zu 113.000 Gl\u00e4ubigen f\u00fchrten, erkl\u00e4rt die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaticannews.va\/es\/santos\/11\/24\/ss--andres-d_ng-lc--sacerdote--y-companeros--martires.html\">Webseite des Vatikans<\/a>.
