{"id":28441,"date":"2023-02-04T13:30:04","date_gmt":"2023-02-04T12:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omnesmag.com\/?p=28441"},"modified":"2023-02-15T12:03:16","modified_gmt":"2023-02-15T11:03:16","slug":"forum-omnes-fraternity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/actualidad\/foro-omnes-fraternidad\/","title":{"rendered":"Omnes Forum: \"Interreligious dialogue, a path to fraternity\"."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the past few years, February 4 has been celebrated as the Day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/signatures\/the-universal-fraternity-key-to-the-future\/\">Fraternity<\/a> Human. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A day in which, as explained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/es\/observances\/human-fraternity\">United Nations,<\/a> The aim is to highlight \"the contribution that people of all religions and beliefs make to humanity, as well as the contribution that dialogue among all religious groups can make to a better knowledge and understanding of the common values shared by all humanity\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, 4 years ago today, a meeting took place between Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad al-Tayyib in Abu Dhabi, which led to the signing of the document entitled \"....<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/content\/francesco\/es\/travels\/2019\/outside\/documents\/papa-francesco_20190204_documento-fratellanza-umana.html\">Human fraternity for world peace and common coexistence.\"<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This document, a key document within the pontificate of Pope Francis, underlines \"the importance of reviving the religious sense and the need to reawaken it in the hearts of the new generations, through healthy education and adherence to moral values and appropriate religious teachings, so that individualistic, selfish, conflicting tendencies, radicalism and blind extremism in all its forms and manifestations may be confronted.\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forum \"Interreligious dialogue, a path to fraternity\".<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within this framework, Omnes has organized a Forum, together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/doctrina.conferenciaepiscopal.es\/relaciones-interconfesionales\/\">Episcopal Subcommission for Interfaith Relations and Interreligious Dialogue<\/a> of the Spanish Episcopal Conference on this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the heading <strong>\"Interreligious dialogue, a path of fraternity\".<\/strong> the Forum will take place, in person, on the following day.<strong> Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in Aula Magna of the Postgraduate Headquarters <\/strong>of the <a href=\"https:\/\/madrid.unav.edu\/\">University of Navarra in Madrid.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting will be attended by the Bishop of Solsona, <strong>Francisco Conesa<\/strong>President of the Episcopal Subcommission for Interfaith Relations and Interreligious Dialogue;<strong> Moshe Bendahan<\/strong>Chief Rabbi of Spain and <strong>Mohamed Ajana El Ouafi, <\/strong>Secretary of the Islamic Commission of Spain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Forum, organized by Omnes together with the CARF Foundation, will also be broadcasted on the Internet. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@Omnesmag\">Youtube<\/a> for those who cannot attend in person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a follower and reader of Omnes, we invite you to attend.
