During this month, the Pontiff asks Catholics to pray for those \"living on the margins of society\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Pope denounces the widespread indifference. He puts the emphasis on the media, where the situation in which more than 700 million people live is not denounced. The \"throwaway culture\", says Francis, \"dominates our lives, our cities, our way of life\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the face of this situation, the Holy Father asks that \"we stop making invisible those who are on the margins of society, whether for reasons of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/news\/the-poor-evangelize-us-2\/\">poverty<\/a>dependencies, mental illnesses or handicaps\".
