His parents were emigrants from France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His mother Mildred Prevost, librarian at Mendel Catholic Prep School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brothers: Louis, a military veteran currently residing in Florida, and John, a retired Catholic school principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1969.<\/strong> He entered the minor seminary at the age of 14, leaving his parents' home.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1973<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>He finished high school at the St. Augustine Minor Seminary of the Augustinian Fathers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1977. <\/strong>Degree in Mathematics from Villanova (Augustinian) University, along with a major in Philosophy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1977. <\/strong>In September he entered the novitiate of the Augustinian Province of Our Lady of Good Counsel in St. Louis, Missouri.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1978. <\/strong>First profession of religious vows on September 2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1978-1982. <\/strong>Master of Divinity degree from the Catholic Theological Union of Chicago.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1981. <\/strong>Solemn profession on August 29.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1981. <\/strong>Ordination to the diaconate on September 10.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1982<\/strong>. In addition, he was dedicated to raising funds for the missions of his province.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Peru<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1988. <\/strong>Peru, mission of Trujillo. Director of common formation for Augustinian aspirants. On December 12, he was ordained bishop. In 2015 he was appointed bishop of Chiclayo and obtained Peruvian nationality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2018-2023<\/strong>.
