{"id":52160,"date":"2025-09-14T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/?p=52160"},"modified":"2025-09-11T16:16:58","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T14:16:58","slug":"family-forum-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/actualidad\/jornada-foro-de-la-familia\/","title":{"rendered":"Pep Borrell, Gregorio Luri or Sara P\u00e9rez Tom\u00e9 among the speakers at the First Conference of the Family Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 18, the auditorium of the Colegio Mayor Universitario de San Pablo in Madrid will be the venue of the<a href=\"https:\/\/forofamilia.org\/i-jornada-foro-de-la-familia\/\"> I Family Forum Conference,<\/a> a meeting that seeks to reflect on the role of the family in today's society as a privileged space for human, emotional and educational growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will bring together renowned specialists in the fields of philosophy, education, psychology and family counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Families and economy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/news\/gregorio-luri-the-dignity-of-the-student-is-no-longer-respected\/\">Gregorio Luri<\/a>one of the most influential Spanish thinkers in the field of contemporary education will be in charge of opening the conference with a paper entitled: <em>In Praise of Sensibly Imperfect Families<\/em> with which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/focus\/interview-gregorio-luri\/\">Luri<\/a> will address the importance of the home as the original place where the truth about goodness, love and identity is learned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most original and attractive topics of the day focuses on financial education, a subject that will be addressed by Marta Cuevas, Training Director of the Institute of Family Financial Planning (IPFF). Cuevas will stress the importance of the family as the first school of financial habits to prevent crises, encourage responsibility and give children tools for serenity and freedom in the management of their resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emotional education and family stability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second part of the day will feature Pep Borrell, one of the authors in vogue for his interesting proposals in defense of the joy and beauty of marriage.
