In recent decades, both in a shared and individual way, many people have joined the current of Yoga, transcendental meditation or Reiki as a form of self-realization or prayer. Some have even promoted them within the Church as a form of \u201cChristian prayer\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This search for spirituality, increasingly present in our society in spite of everything, can lead to wrong paths. Therefore, in this short book, conceived in a very practical way and which includes links to videos related to the subject, the priest Ignacio Amor\u00f3s wanted to explain clearly the nature and root of the practice of Yoga and its relationship with Christian prayer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/Yoga-New-Age-oraci%C3%B3n-cristiana\/dp\/B0G762YQW7\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/Yoga-New-Age-oraci%C3%B3n-cristiana\/dp\/B0G762YQW7\">This is a volume, published and distributed through Amazon<\/a>, It is very useful for all those who want to know more about the relationship between these Eastern techniques and Christianity and, above all, it highlights the teachings of the Church on this issue.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to explaining what Yoga, Reiki and transcendental meditation are, the priest, promoter of <em>Rebels Wanted<\/em>, makes a clear distinction between Yoga and Christian prayer, focusing on key points: the concept of God, who Christ is, the invocations, the postures, the purpose of each of the practices, the interiority or the fruits that are born from the exercise of one or the other: in the case of Yoga it is not the union with God, or the personal relationship with Him, but the fusion with an impersonal absolute for whom we are nothing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For its clarity, brevity, and expository mode, the book is highly recommended for people of any age, and also especially for those who perform this type of meditation or meditative practices as a way of \u201cprayer\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amor\u00f3s highlights how there is no such thing as <em>\u201cChristian Yoga but there are Christians who do Yoga.\u201d <\/em>and, in this line, he turns his eyes to the need for prayer.
