{"id":9329,"date":"2021-02-01T08:02:34","date_gmt":"2021-02-01T07:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omnesmag.com\/?p=9329"},"modified":"2026-01-15T10:15:56","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T09:15:56","slug":"la-permanente-de-la-cee-tratara-el-testamento-vital-o-la-proteccion-de-menores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/actualidad\/la-permanente-de-la-cee-tratara-el-testamento-vital-o-la-proteccion-de-menores\/","title":{"rendered":"The EEC Permanent Secretariat will discuss living wills and the protection of minors."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Standing Committee of the<a href=\"https:\/\/conferenciaepiscopal.es\/\">\u00a0<strong>Spanish Episcopal Conference (CEE)<\/strong><\/a> will meet starting tomorrow at the Casa de la Iglesia in Madrid in what will be its first meeting of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On this occasion, the conference will focus on the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lines of pastoral action of the Episcopal Conference for the quinquennium 2021-2025.<\/li><li>Implementation of the letter of Pope Francis for the institution of lay men and women as readers and acolytes.<\/li><li>Dialogue on the work of the Diocesan Offices for the Protection of Minors.<\/li><li>Dialogue on the implementation of the training plan that was approved at the previous Plenary.<\/li><li>Information about Euthanasia and the living will.<\/li><li>Information about \u00c1bside Media's work<\/li><li>Dialogue on various current issues.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to this, the meeting will serve to approve the agenda for the Plenary Assembly scheduled for April 19-23 and to update information on economic issues, various follow-up matters and the various Episcopal Commissions, as well as the chapter on appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Standing Committee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Standing Commission is the organ of the Bishops' Conference that\u00a0<strong>is responsible for the preparation of the Plenary Assemblies and the execution of the decisions adopted thereat<\/strong>.
