{"id":9596,"date":"2021-03-02T09:49:59","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T08:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omnesmag.com\/?p=9596"},"modified":"2021-03-02T09:50:44","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T08:50:44","slug":"we-are-placing-our-fe-in-a-dialogue-that-does-not-impoverish-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/en\/actualidad\/hemos-de-plantear-nuestra-fe-en-un-dialogo-que-no-la-empobrezca\/","title":{"rendered":"\"We must present our faith in a dialogue that does not impoverish it.\""},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are at<strong> XXX Conference<\/strong>organized by the Subcommission for Interfaith Relations, were held against the backdrop of the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Common Coexistence, signed by Pope Francis and Imam Al-Tayyen in Abu Dhabi on February 4, 2019, as well as the Pope's latest encyclical, Fratelli tutti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dialogue without diluting faith<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this premise, the delegates have shown their concern to respond to the reality of religious pluralism that exists in our country and that must lead us to present our faith in a dialogue open to the \"other\", which, far from impoverishing or diluting the Catholic identity, enriches it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the speakers at this conference were Prof. Diego Sarrio, Rector of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pisai.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pontifical Institute for Arab and Islamic Studies<\/a>s (PISAI) in Rome, Prof. D. Gonzalo Villagr\u00e1n, Rector of the University of Rome.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.teol-granada.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Faculty of Theology of Granada<\/a>&nbsp;and His Beatitude Msgr. Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the challenge of jihadist terrorism was addressed by experts Mr. David Garriga and Mr. Said El-Gazhi, members of CISEG (Intelligence and Global Security Community).
