Presque tous les grands jours de f\u00eate, o\u00f9 les chr\u00e9tiens se r\u00e9unissent pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les myst\u00e8res sacr\u00e9s, sont marqu\u00e9s par d'horribles tueries. La situation devient tellement exasp\u00e9rante que certains pr\u00eatres avertissent d\u00e9j\u00e0 que de nombreux chr\u00e9tiens n'en peuvent plus et seront contraints de se d\u00e9fendre par les armes si les attaques se poursuivent et que les autorit\u00e9s ne r\u00e9agissent pas rapidement et \u00e9quitablement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'un des derniers massacres en date a eu lieu dans le village d'Aondona, dans le dioc\u00e8se de Makurdi, au centre du Nigeria. Le vicaire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral charg\u00e9 de la pastorale et directeur de la communication du dioc\u00e8se a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que si le gouvernement n'agissait pas d'urgence, \"il arrivera un moment o\u00f9 les chr\u00e9tiens seront contraints de prendre les armes\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon un rapport de l'ONG catholique <a href=\"https:\/\/intersociety-ng.org\/\">Intersoci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/a>En 2023, au moins 52 250 chr\u00e9tiens nig\u00e9rians auront \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s au cours des 14 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Dans un rapport de 2021 de la Commission am\u00e9ricaine sur la libert\u00e9 religieuse dans le monde, le Nigeria \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un tragique champ de bataille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La violence en Afrique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les chr\u00e9tiens sont majoritaires dans le sud du pays. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnesmag.com\/fr\/nouvelles\/assassinat-dun-pretre-nigerian\/\">Nigeria <\/a>et les musulmans du nord. Il est vrai que, dans l'histoire r\u00e9cente du pays, la violence n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 unidirectionnelle. Le Nigeria, l'un des pays les plus peupl\u00e9s d'Afrique, a connu un coup d'\u00c9tat apr\u00e8s son ind\u00e9pendance et des politiciens et militaires musulmans ont \u00e9t\u00e9 assassin\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le jeune pays a \u00e9galement connu des combats tribaux, o\u00f9 les musulmans et les chr\u00e9tiens d'une tribu \u00e9taient alli\u00e9s contre les chr\u00e9tiens et les musulmans d'une autre tribu. Aujourd'hui, cependant, l'extr\u00eame violence et les massacres, selon les rapports qui parviennent \u00e0 l'Occident, sont unidirectionnels.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Mozambique est un autre pays d'Afrique o\u00f9 la mont\u00e9e de la violence extr\u00eame \u00e0 l'encontre des catholiques a un impact d\u00e9vastateur, avec l'assassinat de pr\u00eatres et de fid\u00e8les et la destruction d'\u00e9glises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous ne pouvons pas faire grand-chose, si ce n'est prier et soutenir financi\u00e8rement ces \u00e9glises, mais il faut au moins le faire savoir pour que le silence ne soit pas le principal alli\u00e9 de ceux qui assassinent leurs semblables en toute impunit\u00e9 pour des raisons de foi religieuse.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Merece dar voz a una Iglesia m\u00e1rtir como es la Iglesia en \u00c1frica, sobre todo, en pa\u00edses como Nigeria y Mozambique.
