Is God greater than a dragon?

When a young child wonders how big God is, his father has the answer: ‘Let’s find out together.’ The versatile actor, director, and film producer David Henrie, his wife María, and the publisher have begun promoting the book *Is God Bigger Than a Dragon?*, although it officially comes out in November.

‘Is God Bigger Than a Dragon?’ is a Christian picture book by David Henrie and his wife María about God’s love. Perfect for bedtime stories, baptism gifts (and other occasions), and family Bible reading time, according to the publisher. Ascension Press.

On August 6, @DavidHenrie posted the following message on X: “I’m so excited to finally share something María and I have been working on… our first children’s book, *Is God Bigger Than a Dragon?*. I just announced it on @GMA (Good Morning America).’.

A story that sparks the imagination

“The book was inspired by the questions our own children ask about God, faith, and the world around them,” Henrie added. “We wanted to create a story that sparks the imagination, directs families to Scripture, and reminds children that no matter how big their fears are, God is greater.”

“It's been a ”special experience‘ for the family,’ said the actor, best known for his role as Justin Russo alongside Selena Gomez in Disney's *Wizards of Waverly Place*, and for the series ‘Seeking Beauty,’ which she created and hosted in collaboration with EWTN Studios.

On his Instagram account, @davidhenrie's post—which included a few photos—was similar and also had a promotional angle. “We can't wait for you to read it this November. Pre-order the book at Amazon. I'm starting a group chat for everyone who requests it in advance on Instagram, and I'll add you to our chat so you can learn more about the book and the @Ascension Press movement.”.

David Henrie presented the book on the famous morning show ‘Good Morning America,’ broadcast by the American network ABC.

About the Book: Bringing the Bible to the Family

One of the best-known endorsements for David and María Henrie’s book comes from Jonathan Roumie, the star of ‘The Chosen.’ The Catholic publishing house Ascension Press includes it as a featured recommendation:

“David and María beautifully and poetically capture the timeless wisdom of Scripture in a warm, accessible, and family-centered storybook, revealing to children the immensity of God’s love for them,” wrote Jonathan Roumie.

He posted a video showing him alongside María and Archbishop José Gómez during the red-carpet premiere of the EWTN+ original series ‘Seeking Beauty,’ as reported by ChurchPop, the Colombian media outlet Razón y Fe, and others.

“Thank you, Archbishop Gómez, for introducing me to her!” David Henrie wrote about his wife María following the premiere of his EWTN+ series, *In Search of Beauty*, according to Jacqueline Burkepile.
