minute to lead

Every day, thousands of people consume content about leadership. Most of it focuses on productivity, influence, or professional success. «One Minute to Lead» It was created with a unique approach: taking just sixty seconds to discover what the Gospel can teach us about leading people and building authentic relationships.

The initiative offers a brief daily reflection inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the book «70 Times 7: Leading Through Forgiveness, Truth, and Reconciliation», by Santiago José Portas Alés, who is convinced that the Gospel is one of the greatest leadership manuals ever written.

Each post offers a simple and deeply practical idea to apply at work, in business, at school, in government, within the family, or in any setting where there is a responsibility toward others. The goal is not to offer management formulas, but to help readers discover that leadership begins long before one holds a position: it begins when a person learns to serve, listen, correct others with kindness, forgive without compromising the truth, and build trust.

A sequel to a book that has already sparked interest

The initiative stems from the book «70 times 7. *Leading Through Forgiveness, Truth, and Reconciliation*, a book that proposes a fresh reading of various passages from the Gospel from the perspective of leadership and which, since its publication, has sparked growing interest among executives, teachers, priests, members of religious orders, businesspeople, and committed laypeople.

Far from being a treatise on business management, the book identifies seven key leadership skills found in the life and teachings of Jesus: forgiveness, truth, reconciliation, humility, fraternal correction, the call to service, and discernment. These values remain essential today for building more humane organizations and stronger relationships.

The book’s positive reception has allowed *70 Times 7* to establish itself as a true Gospel-inspired leadership guide, capable of bridging the gap between faith and professional life, offering a fresh approach for those who wish to fulfill their responsibilities from a deeply human and Christian perspective.

The same message, adapted to social media language

With «A Minute to Lead,» that same message is now adapted to the agile language of social media. Every morning, an image is posted along with a brief reflection—designed to be read in just one minute—with the aim of helping you start your day and offering practical inspiration for living out leadership based on Gospel values.

In an era marked by polarization, rapid change, and the difficulty of creating spaces for dialogue, this initiative aims to remind us that the most transformative leadership is still that which arises from service, strengthens trust, seeks the truth, and makes reconciliation a viable path.

More than just a social media profile, «A Minute to Lead» aims to become a community of people who believe that leadership is not just about achieving goals, but about helping those who walk alongside us to grow.
